The care our Mother receives starts at the top and spreads throughout Jersey Ridge Place.  Niki, Heidi, and Rachel demonstrate an exemplary caring attitude towards every resident.  Their frequent hugs, stopping to converse, walking slowly alongside even the feeblest of residents, carries through to the staff.  From day one, the aides have “adopted” our mom.  They treat her with respect, dignity, and understanding, as if caring for their own mother or grandmother.  While we could single out specific employees from aides, dietary, housekeeping and activities personnel relative to “extra care” actions, there are so many hours in a day that we would certainly be leaving out equally deserving members of this invaluable team.  Our mother is so much better off in this “home away from home” environment than she was living independently.  Our sincere appreciation for jobs done VERY WELL!
